Trees & Happy New Year

Well, I love my pink tree!  Most especially as it has it's own, battery powered lights, and was reduced to £3.75 in ASDA before Christmas!  And it's not too big.  I did opt away from the lime green decorations that ASDA were also selling, and went for the more tasteful bronzy ones!!  Plus some old black and red deccies from some years ago, IKEA I think.  The large bauble at the top was a Christmas present from one of my book group friends.

These are trees that I made after watching a demo by Kirsty Wiseman.  Made from a few catalogues that I had.

I now need to get back some inspiration for some crafting, the muse has left me since making all those Christmas cards!  Did do a Bon Voyage card for friends last week.  Need to finish off a Happy New Year one for another friend who was away over the holidays.  Then a couple of impending birthdays, and a wee knitted thing to go with one of these birthdays.

Well, it may be a little late, but still said with true feeling - Wishing all a very Happy and Healthy New Year.  Savour every day and every little thing.

One last thought that made me smile - 'Due to financial constraints, the light at the end of the tunnel has been extinguished until further notice.'

HAVE A GOOD ONE!
