I made this card for the 40th anniversary of my dear friends S&M. It is the third 40th anniversary card that I've made this year. I love this image and have had it for several years now, but think that it's just right for a 'big' anniversary! I have also used it for the wedding of a more mature couple. The shape is different to the original one that I made in March, based on one in a craft magazine that I particularly liked and have used several times since. They loved the red roses that I made for this card. They are based on a spiral shape and for this one I did use anb Hot Off The Press template that I recently bought from a shopping channel.
Perhaps I shouldn't dwell on it - but, if I was still married to the earstwhile MrG we would've been celebrating our 40th anniversary next year. We did manage 19/20 years but that's a whole different story!!
(I'm still researching how to add a watermark to my photos before I publish them, but haven't managed it yet.)
